About

Mother Spirit

Mother Spirit is an open community, for anyone. No single practice is required and no single path is the right one. Some people arrive through the stars, some through the mat, some through the kitchen or the body’s own waters.

What gathers us is the wish to do this work in company rather than alone: to compare notes, to ask the questions that have nowhere else to go, and to find out whether what you are noticing is yours alone or part of something wider.

Once a month there is a community call, free and open to all. Dates aren’t fixed; each call is announced as it approaches.

In our spaces

Mother Spirit is a space for sharing personal experiences, asking questions, learning from one another, and approaching these practices with curiosity rather than rigid rules. Some members are completely new, while others have been exploring for many years. There is no expectation that everyone will practise in the same way—or practise everything discussed here.

We often speak about Yoga in its wider sense, including Ayurveda, fasting, food, somatic awareness, emotional integration, meditation, menstrual wisdom, shivambu, astrology and the historical and alchemical dimensions of embodied practice.

Most importantly, we aim to keep this a respectful and supportive space where people can speak honestly about experiences that are often difficult to discuss elsewhere. You are welcome to introduce yourself, share what brought you here, or simply observe until you feel comfortable joining the conversation.
